About Riverdale

Riverdale is an interesting, little known area of New York City. It is the western part of the Bronx, located just above the northern end of Manhattan between the Hudson River and Broadway. It has leafy city streets but also winding country lanes. It has three of the NYC’s most prestigious private schools. Riverdale is home to several wealthy residential areas with grand mansions.

One can drive into midtown Manhattan from here in 15 minutes. In addition there are many forms of public transportation that provide easy access to the famous spots of the city. On the Express bus, a comfortable coach, you can get to Fifth Avenue’s Museum Mile with a stop just in front of the Metropolitan Museum. On the #1 subway you can go to Columbus Circle and Central Park, or continue on to Lower Manhattan  without changing trains.

MetroNorth RR will take you to Grand Central Station in 15 minutes as well as many points of interest going north to Westchester.
